University-wide upgrade to Microsoft Teams Calling

PROJECT OVERVIEW

In effort to modernize communication technology and better meet the needs of those working, learning and teaching remotely, UCF IT Telecommunications intends to retire Skype for Business and gradually change to Microsoft Teams for faculty and staff. This migration will begin in fall 2021.

Microsoft Teams Calling is the digital phone solution for making and receiving calls. University phone lines will be moving to Teams Calls, featuring an internet based, mobile-first calling experience with the ability to call any one, from anywhere, at any time. For more information about Microsoft Teams Calling, please visit the Teams Calling FAQs for more information.
