University-wide upgrade to Microsoft Teams

PROJECT OVERVIEW

In effort to modernize communication technology and better meet the needs of those working, learning and teaching remotely, UCF IT Telecommunications has retired Skype for Business and will migrate Cisco to Microsoft Teams Calling for faculty and staff; this migration is scheduled to occur in the Spring of 2023.

Microsoft Teams Calling is the digital phone solution for making and receiving calls. University phone lines will be moving to Teams Calling. It will feature an internet based, mobile-first calling experience with the ability to call any one, from anywhere, at any time. For more information about Microsoft Teams Calling, please visit the Teams Calling FAQs for more information.
