What Has changed?

  • UCF student email addresses were migrated from a @knights.ucf.edu to a new account ending in @ucf.edu – the same system used by staff/faculty.
  • Emails, calendar and contacts were moved over to the new account.
  • This new email account will be used for all official UCF communications.

Why the change?

Consolidating the active student and faculty/staff accounts will improve communication and collaboration between students, faculty and staff at UCF. This process will also enhance platform security, governance and administration.

With this change, students, faculty and staff will be able to easily communicate with each other on projects and assignments using shared and secured documents within Microsoft 365.
