FUNCTIONALITY LIST
Ensure adherence to university security policies through routers, firewalls, VPN appliances, and IDS/IPS systems.  Configure access control services on networking hardware and diagnose security issues.  Provide security administration services for the university.  Develop a service and cost recovery model for university affiliates.  Provide after-hours support for university firewall and security services.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Provide experienced Cisco certified technical support for networking hardware and software including, but not limited to, the following: Cisco Firewalls and IDS/IPS: 6500 and 7600 series Firewall Service Modules (FWSM’s), PIX 5xx series, 6500 series Intrusion Detection System Module (IDSM), and MARS appliance.  Security Software: Nessus vulnerability scanner, Private I Syslog Viewer and UNIX file parsing utilities.

INCLUDED SERVICE COMPONENTS – OVERVIEW:
The Firewall Services component includes the following: design, configure, maintain and administer Firewall, VPN, and IDS/IPS systems for all of the UCF locations, ensure network security between network segments, monitor system security alerts for Firewall, VPN and IDS/IPS systems using specialized monitoring software, enforce security policy requirements for DMCA and related peer-to-peer file sharing violations and manage Remedy ticket queue in support of Service Desk. The Firewall Services component does not include the following Service Catalog offerings: Campus Network Support, Wireless Network Support, External Campus Network Support, University Affiliate Network Support, IP Address Management, DNS Services, ResNet Network Support, Virtual Private Network Services, Project Management and Consulting all of which are covered separately.

OPTIONAL SERVICE COMPONENTS – OVERVIEW:

The pricing for Firewall Services is provided on a per customer basis depending on firewall service needs.  Some of the factors taken into consideration are hardware purchase requirements, scope of work, and maintenance and growth needs.

Design and engineering costs will be covered by Project Management Service Catalog entry, customer to purchase the appliance.
