AI Tools

Commonly used AI tools and their approval status for use with university data. Each tool is evaluated through UCF IT’s Vendor Risk Management (VRM) process, which assesses security, data privacy, and compliance against UCF’s information security standards before a tool is recommended for use. Before placing any university data into an AI tool, users should verify that the tool has been reviewed and is approved for the appropriate data classification level. Unrestricted data may be used across a wider array of tools, but users should still take steps to verify their data is not shared with third parties. Restricted and Highly Restricted data must only be processed using tools covered by a UCF enterprise agreement.
