Attention ResNet Students
The User Agreement has been updated. In order to continue using the wired ResNet, you will need to review the updated agreement and re-register your wired devices.
If you still see your device listed in your MyResNet portal, but unable to connect to the network, you will need to delete the registration and re-register.
If you are unable to access the ResNet website from your wired device, you can access the site via a mobile or wireless device (phone, tablet, laptop…).

Things You Need TO Know
Before setting up your internet connection here is some helpful information:
- No wireless routers are allowed. Don’t worry gaming systems are OK. Review a complete listing of restricted devices.
- Know the rules. Violation of the rules can get your internet connection suspended. Review the user agreement.
- Use an antivirus program and always surf safely.
Register my device
In order to register you need:
- Your UCF NID (What’s my NID?)
- The physical address for the device you want to register (Find it on: PC | Mac)
- Your building, room number, and wall jack (left, right, only)
- The phone number and e-mail address at which you prefer to be contacted
Just registered your computer, but still no internet? Reboot your computer. This is the number one thing people forget to do.
